While Ray had gone back to his training after the fight with Hanzo and had become a top expert ninja in whole ninja world , he had gone back to his training ground and had started the mixing of other elements.

"Scorch Release : Great Fire Tornado "Ray had created a new S class justsu in which a tornado of fire was formed which was was burning everything to ashes which coming in its path and the tornado was formed for 1 minute and then automatically extinguished.

While Ray was training leaf was fighting the alliance of stone and cloud village in which for 4 months both side collided but the casualities was not serious leading to Onoki [Ohnoki] to get depressed as the stone village had gone weakened in this Great War and had fallen behind cloud and leaf both.
While cloud had become more powerful than leaf village when compared to total amount of ninjas while leaf had more peak ninjas while stone village was not comparable to both villages which made Onoki to deploy a strategy in which he had formed a army consisting of cloud and stone ninjas for going against the leaf while he had formed a second group of 10k ninjas to attack the cloud while their majority of ninjas were outside the village. So Onoki back stabbed his own alliance member.

So when the main army of alliance was colliding with the leaf village , the stones with mist village had formed a 10k army to ambush the elite ninjas of cloud including 3rd Raikage . The cloud's elite ninjas were in grave danger as if these ninjas died the cloud's backbone would be broken and then the village will be weakened by lot so than 3rd Raikage made a decision of putting his life on the line to defend his comrades and letting them escape. He had made the decision to sacrifice his life for his village's future.
Raikage attacked the ten thousand ninja army by himself but it was one man slaughter which continued for three days until he died. The death of 3rd Raikage had brought sadness to the whole cloud village as the village respected and were proud for having 3rd Raikage leading the village .After the death of the 3rd Raikage Ay was made the new Raikage of the cloud village and the ceremony for the funeral of 3rd Raikage was going to happen after 4 days.

"What 3rd Raikage , that old man died."Ray was shocked as he knew how powerful the Raikage was and was thinking to be impossible for him to be killed as he was too fast to be killed and he also had his Op defense and attack.
"I need to go to my number one rivals funeral."Ray was sad after the death of 3rd Raikage as he was a very powerful shinobi and was his one and only worthy opponent left.
So Ray had left to attend the funeral of 3rd Raikage.

After 3 days Ray had reached the place where the 3rd Raikage was being buried.
"What are you doing here?"4th Raikage was very curious why Ray had come to his father's funeral as he knew that both Ray and his father were each others rival and his father had praised Ray's strength a lot and he told Ay that Ray was only his one and only Rival against whom he can get fully rid/
Ay knew what that means and so knew a man who can draw a fight with 3rd Raikage was how powerful [ Readers note : 3rd Raikage is stronger than Hanzo as Raikage was still in his peak shape when he fought with Ray while Hanzo's strength had decreased over the years.]
"Fuck its going to be boring after his death , why the fuck can't he just run away at the point of death."Ray was cursing 3rd Raikage for his foolishness while 4th Raikage was seeing him with shock.
"Why are you not happy after his death?"Ay was curious about Ray , why he didn't want his dad to die.
"You will understand when you reach the peak of your power , there are not worthy opponents to fight and you cannot feel what it feels like after the death of your no 1 rival in such a fight rather than in my hands."Ray sighed as he always wanted to defeat 3rd Raikage with his own power but now he was dead so what can he do.
"You have a heavy weight to lift after this old man's death but you are too weak for now. Don't let the name of the old man down and get stronger."Saying that Ray left the cloud village
"Who was he?"One of the elite ninja asked about the identity of Ray after he left as he knew that Ray was giving him aura of a strong ninja which was comparable or greater than 3rd Raikage.
"He was the greatest rival of my father in his whole life, Half God Ray."Ay said and left the place
Everyone was shocked to know that Ray had personally came at the funeral of 3rd Raikage and were also respected Ray as he had came to the village of his greatest rival without fearing about the ambush of the cloud village.
